1. Who is responsible

2. Visiting the website
We use a first-party page-view counter to measure website use. It records the page path, page language, mobile or desktop device category, whether a page view starts a visit, the referring site’s domain name and the time of the page view. The counter does not store IP addresses or visitor identifiers and does not use cookies or browser storage. Only the site administrator can read these statistics. To deliver the pages, our hosting providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is needed to run the website securely (legal basis: legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The hosting providers keep these logs under their own retention rules; we do not copy them or use them to identify visitors. Pages, fonts and scripts load from this website; images load from our storage provider (section 8).

The first two entries are technical cookies. gcr_lang stores your language choice, and tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 stores scroll positions. We set no other cookies and store nothing else in visitors' browsers.
4. The free 4-page overview
When you request the free overview, you go to Polar's checkout and enter your email address (and a name, if asked). Polar sends you the download link and processes these details under its own privacy policy. Polar shares your email address, your name if you gave it, and the order details with us. We use them to keep a record of the order and to answer you if you write to us (Article 6(1)(b)). We send marketing emails only if you agreed to them at checkout (Article 6(1)(a)). If you have not bought a product, we delete these details two years after your last order or message.
5. Buying a product
When you buy, you leave this website for the checkout of Polar, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Polar processes your name, email address, billing details and payment information to complete the sale, under its own privacy policy; card payments are handled by Polar's payment processor. We never receive your card details. Polar shares your name, email address, company, country, product and order number with us, so that we can deliver updates and answer questions about your order (Article 6(1)(b)) and meet accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). We keep these details as long as accounting and tax law requires, normally seven years.
When you download your files at getmachineryready.com/download, we check your licence key with Polar and prepare the files for your order. We record the order number, the company name, your email address and the time of each download. The files carry the company name and order number, and marks that are not visible on the page but identify the order. We use this to deliver the files and updates (Article 6(1)(b)) and to protect the kit against unlicensed copying (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep the download record for as long as the licence is in force and the accounting records are kept.
6. Update and marketing emails
We email buyers about updates to the files they bought, as described in the licence (Article 6(1)(b)). We send marketing emails only if you agreed to them at checkout. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the link in each email (Article 6(1)(a)).
7. Writing to us
If you email us, we use your message and address to answer you. We delete them when they are no longer needed, at the latest after two years, unless the message belongs to an order record.
8. Service providers
- Lovable: website hosting, including content delivery and protection against automated traffic
- Supabase: database, file storage and images used by the website, including the download record and the prepared download files
- Porkbun (email forwarding) and Google (Gmail): our email inbox
- Polar: sales, payments and licence keys. As Merchant of Record, Polar is responsible under its own privacy policy for the order and payment data it collects.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
9. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@getmachineryready.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se, or to the data protection authority in your country.
10. Changes
We update this page when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
