Only if your machinery is listed in Annex I. For Part A a notified body is always involved. For Part B you may use internal production control only if you applied harmonised standards or common specifications covering all the relevant requirements (Art. 25(3)). MR-01 records which route applies to you.

No. It covers the cybersecurity part: sections 1.1.9, 1.2.1 and 1.2.6 of Annex III and what they mean for the risk assessment, software updates, the technical file, the instructions for use and substantial modification. The mechanical, electrical and other requirements stay with your existing safety work.

The files are in English. The licence lets you translate and adapt them.
Yes. You get free updates until 31 December 2027 or for 12 months after purchase, whichever is later, for example when EN 50742 or other harmonised standards are cited in the Official Journal or the Commission publishes guidance.
A company licence covers one legal entity, its employees and the contractors and outside consultants it engages to work on its machines. Group companies need a group licence.
